A good number of these around right now, but with the price of Tootal scarves being at the premium end of the market, there is always likely to be opportunities for cheaper competition. Like Beat Surrender, for example.

Beat Surrender makes a similar kind of scarf to the classic Tootal, although there are key differences. Tootal makes silk scarves with the tasseled edges and archive patterns. Beat Surrender’s scarves have the ‘look’, but are handmade from a cotton cloth, some with frayed ends, others with closed ends.

You can choose from paisley, polka dot and pin dot cloths, all of which have that 1960s vibe. All are well priced too, starting at £9.99, going up to £14.99.

You can browse and buy the scarves at the retailer’s eBay store or directly from the website.
