A man, an idea and a sewing machine., That’s pretty much the background to these 1960s-style scarves by Wild Woods.

Here’s the slightly longer version. Basically Phil Woods wanted to buy clothes he liked at a reasonable price. In some instances it wasn’t possible, so he made his own, kicking off with scarves. People mentioned they liked the look of them, so he made some more. Now he’s selling them more widely.

The scarves are made by Phil on his very own sewing machine using local sourced  (but vintage style) cloths and are all in limited runs. The idea is to sell the scarves to finance buying more cloths and trying out new items. It’s that simple.

Anyway, the scarves are up for sale now via a newly set up eBay shop, with the initial designs being a green scarf (Charles Bradley), a white one (Dr Robert), purple (Happiness Stan) and red (Peter Street). Some are pictured here, but you can see all at the online store.

Price you ask? The scarves are priced from £15.
