A while back, we were more than impressed with the return of Aero’s Type 3 leather jean jacket. Now the company has matched it with a variation on the them, this 1960s Type 3 jean jacket in black suede.

It follows the same path as its predecessor, which in turn was inspired by the classic Levi’s Type 3 denim jacket. Indeed, it’s a path that has been walked before – the jacket was made in the 1980s for Japanese market, but hasn’t been seen for 20+ years.

The reissue once again pays homage to Levis, with the end result being a lined jacket constructed in black suede with a leather collar as standard but with the option of a matching Suede collar if you prefer. The jacket is cotton lined and closes with traditional Aero Jean buttons using proper keyhole buttonholes.

As well as the option of a matching suede collar, you can also opt for contrast stitching and the Aero ‘Longhorn’ Western Wear label as an option to the famous Aero ‘Car, Bike and Plane’ label which is fitted to the jacket in the pictures.

All priced the same though at £500.
