To be honest, I don't know much (if anything) about 'London 60s week', but the 60s Shake'n' club night in London is apparently part of it.
Heading up the DJ line-up is the legendary Jeff Dexter, who will be behind the decks once more with 'Healer Selecta' and guest Rob Bailey in a '60s-themed venue to spin Rare & Classics 50s Rhythm & Blues, 60s Soul/ Buttshakers, Beat, Garage, Instro Surf, Funk- New Orleans Funk, 50s Rock N Roll, Rare Groove, Latin Boogaloo, Motown, Ska & Rock Steady and Mod Classics. That's a lot of genres going down, not sure what the end result will be like.
Anyway, if you fancy it, the night takes place on Friday 3rd June at Dingwalls, Jongleur Club main entrance, East Yard, Camden, London NW1 8AL. It runs from 10:30 – 3am, £5 entry before 11pm. You can get tickets at Ticketweb.
