Not just one expensive Mac, the A.P.C. Summer Mac above is the first of two.

But we'll start with the cheapest (and most stylish), with French label A.P.C. offering up a timeless classic for rain-soaked Britain. It has a lightweight cotton outer, contrast lining, oversized pearlescent buttons, button cuff adjusters and hidden pockets on the hem. It sells for £299.

Not expensive enough? Well, trust Pretty Green to bump up the price tag. The Pretty Green Flyfront Mac pictured over the page also has a lightweight cotton outer, along with paisley silk lining, logo buttons, adjustable cuffs and epaulettes, two flap pockets and an inside pocket. That one comes in at a whopping £390.
