Yes, this is a 1979 Fred Perry Shirt. available once more, but not for a 1979 price (before anyone asks about it).

This is a made in England shirt, with some subtle differences compared to the modern-day Fred Perry in line with a ‘neat collar’, ‘slightly longer’ sleeve and body length, along with a three button placket, an original label and Laurel Wreath embroidery.

It’s vintage for people who don’t really want secondhand clothing I’m guessing. But as I said, this doesn’t come cheap. If you want to re-live the mod revival era with the 1979 Fred Perry Shirt, you will have to pay more than a regular FP. This one sells for £80 and with just the one colour option available. That’s white with ice and navy details.

Obviously, if you just want a standard Fred Perry polo shirt, they are available for a cheaper price.
