Brighton Beach returns to Sheffield

by Modculture 16 March, 2008

After a brief break since it left the City Hall, Brighton Beach is returning to Sheffield – this time at the Carling Academy.

It launches on Saturday 3rd May 2008, then the first Saturday of each month thereafter. The full address is Carling Academy Sheffield, 37 – 43 Arundel Gate, S1, with the night running from 11pm – 3am, admission £5 in advance.

Music policy is much the same, with two rooms of 60s soul, garage, indie, Northern Soul and Britpop, along with psychedelic visuals and cult 60s films. Most importantly, Gav Needham and guests will still have a separate room for the best mod scene sounds from vintage vinyl.
