Carnabystreet

Not exactly something to make a huge effort to go to, but if you happen to be in the vicinity of Carnaby Street, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June 2010 hosts a 60s weekender there, celebrating 50 years since the dawn of that decade (give or take 6 months).

Live music and performances includes the likes of Hair The Musical and live bands like Connett, Red Track, The Small Fakers, The Last Grand and New Vinyl to name a few. Some of the shops in the area will also have  limited edition items, including Merc and Ben Sherman, Gola Classics, Peckham Rye and Harriet Sanders, the latter with a limited edition leather bag, stamped with iconic 60s photographs by Philip Townsend.
