Christie's Pop Culture auction

Auctions rarely get much better than the Christie's auctions, especially the forthcoming Pop Culture auction, which takes place at the South Kensington sale room on 1st July 2009.

As you might expect, there's everything on offer from 50s and 60s poster artwork (including some obscure Who and psych stuff), Motown rarities, gold discs, rare records, equipment and an endless amount of signed gear. But it's the quirky stuff we like.

Like this Who tour bag for example. It's a white canvas bag with blue 'The Who' lettering, dating back to the 1970s, when it was used by a member of the band's entourage. Ok, it's a bit grubby, but it's certainly a one-off. And something that can be yours for between £300 and £500.
