Crawdaddy in London

Crawdaddy! returns on Friday 20th October 2017.

The third Friday of every month Gary, Lucienne and Danny, plus special guests, play the finest northern soul, mod, Motown, vintage R&B, Two Tone ska and rocksteady, all on vinyl.

Now in our 8th year. Making a very welcome return to the Crawdaddy! decks this month is legendary gent and top DJ about town Ian Jackson (Breaking Point). A DJ on the mod and northern soul scene since 1984, Ian played at clubs such as the Phoenix with Toski, & the Sols Arms. He DJed at mod rallies with Tony Class for years, until he joined legendary club night Blow Up in 1994.

He now runs successful London club night Breaking Point and is a regular on the Crawdaddy! dancefloor. Expect an hour of floorfilling gems.

AND IN THE BACK BAR….

Also on the bill tonight is mod author Dave Dry, who will be talking about and signing copies of his latest book My Generation.

Focusing on the mid 60s, My Generation is Dave’s hilarious memoir of his days as an original mod at the cutting edge of both fashion and scooters.
