One Step Beyond in Manchester
A new night kicking off in Manchester will run every second Thursday of the month (excluding January 2013), going by the name of One Step Beyond.
The first night is Thursday 8th September, with DJs Paul ‘Junior’ Walker (Beat Club / Modchester Weekender) and Jason ‘The Judge’ Leemings playing uptempo R&B, 60s northern, Motown, mod jazz, British beat, ska and reggae on original 45. All in a classic basement bar with dancefloor and top quality sound system.
It takes place at Retro Bar, 78 Sackville Street, Manchester M1 3NJ. Doors open at 8pm, running until 2am, with drinks offers all night. Admission is £3 in.
