If you happen to be down there for the bank holiday, you might want to check out the Quadrophenia open air screening in Brighton.
It isn’t just the film, but you can watch the film on a 40 square metre LED screen on Brighton Beach on Saturday 26th August 2017.
In addition, to that, there will be a Q&A with some stars from the film, said to include Trevor Laird (Ferdy), Gary Shail (Spider) and of course, Pgul Daniels (Jimmy). Those details will be confirmed nearer the date.
There’s more too. After the screening, you can watch Who’s Next, who are widely regarded to be the best The Who tribute band, along with archive video footage on the big screen. Finally, DJ Drew Stanstall, ex of The Specials, will also play a DJ set, spinning the best in mod, ska, soul, R&B and 2Tone.
Tickets are available now, selling from £10 if you get the early bird deal.
