There is a good chance that you have a version of this already, which is perhaps because it’s a wonderful album. But if you haven’t or want to upgrade, you might want to check out The Prisoners – TheWiserMiserDemelza Complete Sessions, released via Big Beat.

In fact, the album was released via Big Beat 25 years ago, which means it is perhaps the perfect time to give it a makeover.

This is described as the ‘definitive reissue’ of the album, featuring all the tracks the group recorded for Big Beat. S the original album, the tracks from the ‘Electric Fit’ EP, the Prisoners’ track from the ‘Four On Four’ EP and the bonus cuts originally released on the US album ‘Revenge Of The Prisoners’, including version two of ‘Revenge of The Cybermen’ which hasn’t been reissued since.

The CD also comes with extensive liner notes made up of interviews with all the band members and producer Philip Chevron of the Pogues and Radiators From Space. Track listing below, with the album down for a release on 26th February 2016.

You can pre-order at Ace or keep an eye on the Amazon website for pre-orders. CD only as far as we know and the price is £11,50.
