The internet is good for many things, but one downside is the negative impact it has had on fanzines. But there are still a few about – and the newest addition is Double Breasted.
Double Breasted promises to be The fanzine for Mod and 60s-inspired cool and should be available to coincide with the Glasgow Mod Weekender, with the fanzine going bi-annually (December/June), then hopefully quarterly.
Co-Editors are Sharon Armit and Jennie Baillie – Sharon has been on the scene for 25 years, with 9 of those being spent in Italy. Perhaps not as active on the scene as Sharon, but a mod of 25 years, Jennie, along with Husband Colin, is part of the Friday Street team and behind the flyers, advertising and pr for the club.
