This will be flagged up in the TV guide later in the week, but just to give you some notice, BBC4 is hosting a Dr Feelgood night this coming Friday, 21st April 2010.

It's an evening because of two fairly hefty programmes – a first TV showing for Julian Temple's recent band documentary Oil City Confidential, which is followed by a Sight and Sound in Concert from the late 70s featuring the band and Ian Dury and the Blockheads. Finishing things off (and relating to that second act) is another showing of the If It Ain't Stiff documentary on Stiff Records.

It all starts from 9pm.
