Duffy cover out now on Acid Jazz

The modern soul spin of last year – Duffy and her 'Mercy' – has been covered to great effect on a new Acid Jazz single.Third Degree Mercy

South London production team The Third Degree have reworked the track to give it that full 60s soul-funk sound with plenty of horns. The 7" release is strictly limited, and the airplay it has already received means copies won't be around for long, so do not delay if you are thinking of buying one.

Mercy is out today on Acid Jazz Records and available from the Acid Jazz eBay shop for £4.49 plus P&P here. Hear 'Mercy' on Youtube before you buy here. The Acid Jazz website is here.

  1. Better than the original! Recommended if you dig Ronson/Winehouse/Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings types sounds……
