Judging by the date on the trailer, it's been some time in the making, but you can now catch Duke Vin and the Birth of Ska as part of the Portobello Film Festival.
Essentially, it's this Gus Berger-directed documentary is the story of ska in the UK, focusing on the arrival in the Uk of Jamaican soundmen Duke Vin and Count Suckle in 1954, their first sound system (in 1956) and their role in popularising ska in Britain, along with reggae and dub in later years.
You can catchj it on Sunday 6th September at 5.30pm, with the screening taking place at Westbourne Studios, 242 Acklam Road, London W10. If you want to know more, check out the trailer below.
