Thanks to Cecile for letting us know about this 1969 Spanish Vespa 160, which is currently on the Spanish version of eBay – but can be shipped around Europe.
Made in the Vespa factory in Madrid in 1969, this rare model has been ‘totally restored’ and taken back to the original ‘electric blue’ colour – the only colour the scooter was produced in during its three years of production.
The scooter, which has electronic ignition, has extras such as chroming to the fork and stand feet, engine covers in nickel and new replica rims plus new handcrafted screws were necessary. See all the details of the work on the listing.
More photos, including some of the parts used, are shown on the listing. If you want to own it, the price seems to be €4,250 on a Buy It Now.
