Note that I independently write and research everything in this article. But it may contain affiliate links.

We featured a set of these once before and didn’t expect to see another set. But there are some George Doswell-designed Small Faces miniature figures on eBay right now and like that last set, will cost you if you want to own them.

As we mentioned before, the set is part of George Doswell’s Music in Miniatures range – the same range that was used on the cover artwork of Paul Weller’s Stanley Road album, which was put together by Sir Peter Blake. They are very rare and unlikely to make a return, as the man behind them is no longer with us.

The set originally offered on eBay (which was in the box) was sold by a person who got them for Christmas, as a result of his father being friendly with Mr Doswell. It seems this second set is from the same source – with the same father discovering a second set, albeit without the original box. But apparently it has ‘never been displayed’ and has been stored in a ‘small cardboard box’, so condition is as new.

You can see images here and you can bid now. As we said, the last set went for big money and there is already an opening bid of £100 on this one.
