Eric Burdon and War reunite

Former Animals singer Eric Burdon will join forces with WAR for the first time in 37 years to play a one-off concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday April 21st. War

When the New Animals disbanded in 1969 Burdon helped create the multicultural Californian funk band WAR. They made two albums together and had a huge hit with the Latin-flavoured ‘Spill The Wine’. The show coincides with a major Rhino Records reissue campaign that will see 1970’s Eric Burdon Declares WAR and The Black-Man’s Burdon hit shelves on March 24th. The Best of Eric Burdon & WAR and The WAR Anthology will then follow on April 14th.
