Jokers

We flagged up a screening of The Flipside presents The Jokers – and if you missed it, luckily for you, the Scenester didn't – he went along to review the event.

Back in 1967, Michael Winner wasn't an annoying food critic and car insurance salesman, he was producing interesting Brit flicks like The Jokers, which starred Oliver Reed and Michael Crawford. Essentially, the two are bored brothers out to ridicule the establishment and make a mark in swinging London with some typically period 'pranks'…right down to stealing the crown jewels.

Michael Winner himself was on-hand for a Q&A session about the movie and if you want to find out what happened, check out The Scenester's piece right now.
