i ended up a bit bored today wandering into suits you/savoy tailors guild type outlets and saw some ok covert style coats, racing green one @ about £160 like this:




looked quite nice ... and fitted too!!

savoy tailors guild ones a little dearer at £209.

and a quite nice military style jacket by dehavilland in there too. about £50.

Got a lovely chalk striped crombie in the Ted Baker sample sale complete with Gold Tonic lining for the cheeky sum of £60.

They're exactly the same the ones I saw in my local Moss outlet store for £99 a couple of months ago. Thinking of getting one, so might go back to check.

some lovely coats at the Bicester outlet shopping center near oxford, well worth a look,  especially the Cashmere mix coat at racing green

Saw some lovely chocolate brown moleskin crombies in Austin Reed outlet shop today, for £129.

Few doors away was the Jeff Banks shop and theirs are really nice too, going for £119. They had a nice herringbone sand coloured one which caught my eye 'cos it was such an unusual colour for a crombie. Their darker coloured ones have velvet pockets as well as half velvet lapels.Not bad for the price.

don't want to nit pick ........... ......... but, i think you mean that they have a velvet collar ........... . lapels a very rarely velvet.

the collar being the bit that goes round the back (as a shirt collar) the lapels being at the front.

Yea sorry LD..that's what I meant , (collar not lapel). I'm rubbish at describing clothes!  EmbarrassedSounds more like teddy boy attire now I've read it back to meself! Wink
