Good luck Spyder with the hunt. The Maxx is highly recommended if you have the patience to trawl through the dross.

I'd recommend TK Maxx too. I saw some lovely crombies in the Birmingham branch a few weeks ago, I went for a lovely fitted pea coat instead though, £150, down from £500.

Spyder ,

close your eyes and think about the coat you would really like . Go around your local shops (TKmaxx,C&A, H&M, ....) , charity shops and local flea markets . I'm sure you will find something decent, if you are not 100% satisfied with what you find , you can always use your imagination and ad an extra pocket or two, ad a velvet collar in a different colour, cover the buttons and have a very special coat that only you will have .

best regards

Went to the main TK Max in Leeds today and they have got a very large selection of Crombie/ Overcoats in.

Some really nice fabrics, colours and styles. And for £100 or under they are all bargains. Quite a few had velvet lapels and ticket pockets.

So to anybody on a budget looking for a new Crombie I would say get yourselfs to TK Max.
