It’s a jacket usually seen in navy blue and black, far more sensible colours if you are a sensible kind of person. The kind of colours that can take much of what life throws at it – which isn’t the case for a white jacket.

Of course, there are numerous colours to choose from for a Baracuta jacket with the option of a ‘mist’ shade added this year, which isn’t far off this one. But it’s not as white as there one here – and Baracuta Harringtons cost a lot more than Fred Perry ones.

If you like this one, it is part of the Reissues range, offering the Fred Perry Laurel Wreath logo subtly on the chest, Fred Perry’s own tartan and a slightly different ‘cut’ to Baracuta’s jacket.

Not much though and this one still has button side pockets, the two-button collar and the umbrella vent on the back.

If it appeals, you can get one online now for £199 in all sizes.
