The Fred Perry Summer collection is now available to buy online and instore.Fred Perry Summer

As with all the season changes, most of the range stays the same or changes slightly, with a handful of 'new' ranges that catch the eye.

On the men's side of things a trio of pieces are noteworthy (see photo). First up will be a real divider: a two tone polo shirt in 'pink' (retailing at £45), made from cotton pique. A more early 70s-looking piece is the revere collar Jersey shirt (also £45), in porcelain or a fetching clay. Finally here are the record t-shirts (£35) that comes in three styles, all mimicking 7" single label designs with the Fred Perry laurel placed in the centre hole. A nice touch that.

On the women's side there is slightly less to get excited about, but having had such a strong Spring collection we should not be too disappointed. The one piece that shouts out is the 50s-styled, multi-buttoned, multi-gingham shirt and dress (£60 and £80 respectively), which have a unique wide collar, upturned sleeves with button fastenings and side vents. Also now available online is the pleated skirt, in white and carbon blue (£75) – just perfect for playing sports in (or perhaps just wearing to Wimbledon).
