Here is an interesting concept, with the Reissues version of the Fred Perry v-neck sweater now back in 1970s school colours.

Of course, this is a premium take on one of Fred Perry’s most famous designs, this version made in Italy from a wool mix. That alone would make it a talking point.

That’s not the only difference. This version is also all about nostalgia. Once upon a time, wearing the Laurel Wreath to school was a sign of rebellion and to pay tribute to that, the label has reissued this version on what it describes as ‘school’ colours. Those being a marl grey, dark carbon or aubergine.

Sadly, Fred Perry isn’t selling this at 1970s prices. Far from it. The sweaters here retail for £130 each.
