Fred Perry Ventile Bomber Jacket

by Modculture 11 May, 2011

Interesting twist on a classic from Fred Perry, this Fred Perry Laurel Ventile Bomber Jacket.

It uses the classic tennis bomber shape, but uses the single layer Ventile fabric, a cloth that's been around since the 1930s and originally use for RAF protective clothing. It's apparently an entirely natural product though, made from 100% cotton in case you're worried.

The jacket is available in three colourways – Royal Blue, Maroon and 1964 Olive, each with a Stewart tartan lining Ventile neck label, zip front and pockets plus elasticated waist and cuffs. See a larger image over the page, but be warned, it doesn't come cheap – £195 is the price.
