Half a tale sadly, but that's because the Fred Perry x Sir Peter Blake range currently is half a tale.

It's not the first time Blake's imagery has been applied to clothing, we've seen sports shoes and t-shirts in the fairly recent past, both marketed as pieces of art as much as pieces of clothing. I suspect the Fred Perry range will be much the same.

According to the company, this new Blank Canvas project will feature three shirt styles, each made and printed in England and sold in a numbered run of 1,000. They will be 'referencing the artist's unique affiliation with 60s pop iconography' and 'showcase Peter's bold style and collage technique'. Make of that what you will.

As numbers are limited, you have to register to be in the queue, even though images of the shirts are not yet available. Guessing they're not the kind of thing you would 'wear out', but might be a decent investment, especially if Blake signs the tag.
