For fans of quirky British horrors of the 60s and 70s (and I know there are many of you out there), here's a real gem that's getting a first-time release on DVD – Fright.

Susan George plays Amanda, the young hipster babysitter, trusted to look after the young child of Jim and Helen (George Cole and Honor Blackman). Once alone, the house develops a menace all of its own. Part of that is down to boyfriend Chris (Dennis Waterman), but when Chris is attacked on the way out, the real danger emerges – Helen's ex-husband, newly escaped from a nearby mental hospital.
