Well done if you got a pair of these in blue as they sold out in minutes. If you missed out, make sure you are on the ball to pick up the 1960s Adidas Originals Athen trainers in red suede.

Yes, the classic blue has been replaced for an equally stylish red suede upper for this City Series classic. But the shoe it largely unchanged. In fact, it is pretty much indention to that last reissue.

That’s to to say it is the same as the shoe that landed for the first time in the 1960s. Some tweaks have been made over the years, including with the sole. But this isn’t a million miles away and pretty much similar to all modern-era reissues.

As we said, the blue reissue flew off the shelves (both store and online) in minutes, which means you will have to be on top of your game to get a pair of these. Set the clock early on Friday 16th December or get up and get out to your local Size? store (as they have the exclusive). If you are lucky enough to find a pair, expect to pay £80.
