There has been some talk about these in the last few weeks, but from tomorrow you can finally get your hands on a pair of the Hutton limited edition Type 01 desert boots.

That’s 28th January 2016 at 11am, with the limited edition of 100 pairs going up for sale. In fact, if you sign up to their mailing list, you can get a discount on the price too. More on that later.

For now, let’s look at the boots, which are premium by anyone’s standards. Each pair is handmade in Italy and made from a ‘buttersoft’ vegetable-tanned Italian suede, with extra thick natural plantation crepe soles, a full leather footbed and padded leather heel. As we said, just 100 pairs worldwide in the acorn sand colourway.

If you sign up at the website, you should get a promo code of 20 per cent off at launch, which might be useful when consider that the list price is £125 for a pair.

Also, there is a pre-launch giveaway running for the next five hours or so, with the chance to win yourself a pair. It’s actually a content based on referrals and as such, I’m not going to use my referral to be absolutely fair and give everyone a fair chance.

But if you want to enter the contest, you can do so right here.

Alternatively, check out the Hutton website.
