We previewed the Lee Originals Westerner denim range a couple of months back and now it's available in the Uk, exclusively via Oki-Ni.

First introduced in 1959 and produced into the 1960s, the Lee Westerners (sometimes called Lee Whites) were the first white 'dress-up' jeans and jackets. The new versions, made as replicas in Japan, are made of Sateen, a fine thread all-cotton fabric that offers a smart finish, but still wears strong.

The range features a trouser based on the classic 101z (now called the 100Z), a 101J jacket and a Westerner shirt, with colour options of black, khaki and tan, white possibly to follow, but don't hold your breath. Very limited numbers and only available at Oki-Ni worlwide, prices start at just over the £200 mark. See over the page for a close-up view.
