Fancy something a limited edition version of the Mod Art book by Paul Anderson? Read on as you can get one if you pledge to buy one.

I’ve been talking about this book for a good while now, which is the follow-up to the hugely popular Mods: The New Religion. But so far it has’t appeared. The result of the publisher chopping and changing release dates it would seem. However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel and some certainty about the release.

In fact, as a bonus, the initial release of Mod Art will be a limited edition version of the book with a sleeve different than the mass market version to follow. In fact, the cover is the one you can see above in all its glory.

As for the book, well the content will be the same, as you might expect. A book that will ‘examining the art around the working class scene of the 60s’ and ‘the definitive work on the visual culture of Mod’.

The full write-up adds:

Illustrating the art scene surrounding the birth of modernism and its simultaneous rise among the burgeoning working class Mod scene of the 60’s, Paul Anderson’s Mod Art is the definitive work on the visual culture of Mod.
