Magic Bus with Wayne Hemingway

by Modculture 8 September, 2008

Following on from the incredible set from celebrity tailor William Hunt (who gave away 6 tailor made Savile Row suits in the dance competition), the acid jazz crew have decided to keep the fashion flavour at their Magic Bus night in Smithfields.

This time they’ve plumped for a second appearance from their special guest spinner fashion designer and TV talking head Wayne Hemingway. A regular at the Blackpool and Wigan northern soul allnighters, Wayne is better known for the iconic fashion company Red Or Dead, which he set up with his wife in the 1980s – this time he’s gone back to his roots for a set of floor filling northern, following on from his double header at Bestival with fellow soul DJ Eddie Piller.

You’ll also find Johnny Valatone and Dean Rudland on the bill on Friday 19th September at The Cock, East Poultry, Smithfields, London EC1. Nearest tubes are Farringdon, St pauls and Barbican. Admission is £5 and it runs from 9pm until 2am.
