You really can’t underestimate what Heavy Soul / Rowed Out does for new bands, taking a chance (on good old fashioned vinyl too) with new bands on a shoestring budget – and often seeing those chances pay off with the likes of The Strypes and The 45s. They have another winner on their hands with The See No Evils.

The Leeds-based band have produced a cracking bit of garage/psych – and a sound that really is on the right side of authentic. Production isn’t quite everything when it comes to this kind of sound, but it is certainly a key part of it.

You can find out more about the four-piece band at their Facebook page – and you can find out where to catch the band live in the near future in the Yorkshire area too. If you want the single, you can order the four-track We Are Strangers EP at the Heavy Soul site now or you can grab one from Piccadilly Records if you happen to be in Manchester.

Oh yes, check out the lead track below…
