We featured a couple of new long sleeves last week, but now we’ve just got details of the new window pane short-sleeved check shirts by Mikkel Rude.

They are, as you might have guessed, not a million miles away from the previous range. At least, they are in detailing. But the new designs come in six new cloths, all pictured above, with some also pictured below for as more close-up look at the front detailing.

That detailing includes shorts sleeves, vented with double button detail, along with a ointed collar with back button, a turned pocket, full box pleat and darts.

All cloths are limited editions and the fit is on the slim side, as usual. £65 is the price online. If you want to see one in the flesh, you can also get them at Stuarts London in Shepherds Bush and American Classics, Covent Garden, London.

  1. I’ve been wondering for some time how the fit of Mikkel Rude shirts compares to a Brutus Trimfit. Can anyone weigh in on that? I can’t find anywhere in North America that sells Mikkel Rude so I’d like to cut down on the likelihood of having to pay an arm and a leg in shipping back and forth to the UK, returning something that doesn’t fit quite right.

    • I’d say that the Mikkel Rude is slightly larger than the Trimfit, but not a grear deal in it. Hope that helps.

      • Excellent. I wear a medium in Brutus and that has a little room to breathe, enough that I’ve toyed with the idea of trying a small. Maybe I’ll try out a small MR if they run a hair bigger. Thanks for the tip.
