Online: The Mods are back, but who were they?

Last night, I spotted another fairly generic article about mods, this time called The Mods are back, but who were they? To be fair, it’s actually better than a lot of recent pieces (some of which you might have seen on our Facebook page).

This one comes from The Globe And Mail out of Canada, on the back of the Olympics Closing Ceremony and in preparation for the Quadrophenia Criterion DVD/Blu-ray reissue, which seems to be big news in North America.

There’s nothing new here and there the usual stereotypical bits and pieces, as you might expect, but still worth a read. As for the idea of a mod ‘revival’ taking place…I think that’s more wishful thinking than anything factual.
