Raremod3

It's out to buy this week on CD, with the vinyl copies of the Rare Mod Volume 3 album available from next week. So the perfect time to review the Rare Mod volume 3 album on Acid Jazz, which we have.

The latest 'Nuggets' of the 60s mod scene offers up 20 rare and/or previously-unreleased tunes from the world of British beat, psych, jazz and R&B, complete with sleevenotes on the artists from compilers Damian Jones and Paul 'Smiler' Anderson. You'll know The Creation, John's Children and St Louis Union), but perhaps not The Iveys, The Preachers and Sean Buckley & The Breadcrumbs.

There's a full tracklisting over the page – or go check out our review on the main site.
