A bespoke photography book of images of Ray Charles by his manager has gone on sale.

Ray Charles Yes Indeed

Yes Indeed! had been put together by the legendary Joe Adams, Charles' manager since 1959 until his death in 2004. The limited edition book (2,500 copies worldwide) contains hundreds of images, but that is not all. Foreword introductions are done by Adams and Bill Wyman, and an extended essay is contributed to by friends and fellow musicians, such as Stevie Wonder, Ahmet ErtegunEtta James, Dr John, Mable John, Quincy Jones, and Billy Preston

Every copy also features an exclusive DVD, showcasing
rare performances and archival footage – including duets
with Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. Finally Charles' friend and
biographer
David Ritz writes a personal essay on the man and his music, and has signed every copy of the book.

Proceeds from the sale of Yes Indeed! will benefit the charitable Ray Charles Robinson Foundation. You can order this mighty tome from Genesis Publications here.
