Big thanks to Mike Knight for flagging up the arrival of R&B Hipshakers volume 2 (aka Scratch That Itch) on the Vampisoul label.

Like the first volume, the disc is compiled by Mr Fine Wine (of Downtown Soulville fame), plundering the King/Federal/DeLuxe catalogue for some early soul and rocking' R&B, some with serious high ticket prices if you want the original vinyl.

Like the original, it's available on CD, which you can grab via Amazon for £11.99, or via a 7-inch vinyl box set – which is available directly from Vampisoul soon. Full tracklisting over the page.
