This numbering is a bit confusing. A few years ago, the G10 was a bomber jacket. However, since WP Lavori took on the brand it is no more – it is now the Baracuta G10 overcoat.

Which is right? We don’t know, but according to the current Baracuta, this single-breasted raincoat is based on an archive design from the 1960s. As for the raincoat itself, it’s a take on the Harrington in some respects, especially with the flap pockets and umbrella vent. But this design has a buttoned front, ‘shirt’ collar, a water-resistant construction and a Coolmax Fraser Tartan inside lining.

It doesn’t come cheap as you might have guessed, selling for £425 in any of the three colours. More images on the retailer’s site.
