We were very keen on the 60s-style Olympus E-P1 camera, although the price meant it stayed firmly on the shelf. But the Pentax Optio I-10 is another thing altogether.
To be fair, the I-10 isn't i the same league when it comes to camera technology, but this retro-styled camera is certainly up there with most pocket-sized digitals. That means a 12-megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, auto focus and exposure and face recognition, the latter able to accurately detect up to 32 faces in a single shot. It even has a mode for dog and cat face recognition, should that be your thing.
Throw in HD (720p) video recording and that two-tone 60s style and you've got a very tempting piece of kit, which will be available from next month (February) for £199.99.
