We've previewed it in the past, but now we've got our hands on You Really Got Me, the DVD documentary of The Kinks – and now we have a review online.

If you've missed it previously, this is an 87-minute documentary on the band mixing music and words, as well as covering all eras, from the early days to the latter-day stadium rock era.

Check out our review online and don't forget, we're still running a competition to give five copies away.

  1. Thanks, your review saved me from what sounds like a sub-standard film. Personally, I’d prefer to watch just their 60s TV/concert performances with no voice-over.
