A new night in Manchester kicks off this Friday, going by the name of Satisfaction and taking place at the Band on the Wall.

Falling foul of one of the mod club pitfalls, the genres seem more than a little broad, offering 50s rock 'n' roll, 60s beat, soul, northern soul, funk and reggae. I think that's what you can something for everyone. There's also a quirky venue, a wooden dancefloor and a venue with 'genuine 60s psychedelic colour wheels', vintage films via a large projection screen and a shop selling vintage clobber and secondhand records.

The launch night is Friday 4th February, running from 10.30pm – 3am, £7 gets you in.
