Secret Affair play live again

by Modculture 7 February, 2008

One of the best bands from the mod revival period, Secret Affair, have announced their first live show since their scintillating performance at The Scala in 2003. Secret_affair_2

The power poppers, famous for revival anthems such as ‘Glory Boys’ and ‘Time For Action’, are set to play the Astoria 2 in London on Saturday September 13th. The current line-up is believed to be original members Ian Page (vocals), Dave Cairns (guitar), and Dave Winthrop (sax), plus new members Simon Hanson (drums) and Nick Abnett (bass). It will also be a chance to hear songs from the bands’ new studio album (title and release date TBC), to be put out by Peer Music. The band still enjoy a massive following: the last time Secret Affair played a full gig it was packed (in a very real sense), so get booking quick.

Tickets are available for the Astoria 2 show from the See Tickets website here. For more info on Secret Affair visit their official website here.
