If you happen to be a fan of the Small Faces, you might well know about this already. If not, the 15th Annual Small Faces Convention 2011 is taking place next month.
Specifically, the date is Sunday 11th September, the venue is the O2 Academy, Islington, London N1, with the event running from 4pm – 11pm. For your money, you’ll get seven bands, including the Small Fakers playing ‘Ogdens’ in its entirety, with John Unwin doing the narration. There’s also a big screen showing vintage band footage, DJs, rare merchandise and much more.
Tickets are £20 and can be picked up from the Wapping Wharf website (where you’ll find more details) or via Ticketweb.
