This is the toughest playlist I’ve done for a while, but the France Goes Beat Spotify playlist is now available should want to give a whirl.

The problem, essentially, was that most of the tracks I wanted to put on here, a mix of 1960s French beat, psych and other similar grooves, were not available in Spotify. So I had to think of replacements…then more replacements. You get the idea.

But I have managed to get 20+ tracks in the end, hopefully it was worth the effort. If you can think of anything missing (and on Spotify), do let us know in the comments section below. Be great to hear from you.

Alternatively, the direct link is here or you can access it via the embedded playlist below.

    😉

  2. Thanks for this great list! Some more yé-yé hits:

Brigitte Bardot – Ca Pourrait Changer
    Nino Ferrer – Mirza
    Nino Ferrer – Les Cornichons
Jacques Dutronc – On Nous Cache Tout, On Nous Dit Rien
DANI – Fille À La Moto
    Jacques Dutronc – Les Cactus

And, since this track by France Gall isn’t available on Spotify, a decent cover:
April March – Laisse Tomber Les Filles

Just check my playlist Selected Yé-yé Beats if you like. 😉
