Rumours of a Specials reunion at the 100 Club have been doing the rounds for a while, but we can now confirm the gig in question isn’t a Specials gig, but will see Specials material played live.

The gig is being billed as Terry Hall and Friends and will take place on Wednesday 25th June at London’s 100 Club on Oxford Street. It’s a Fred Perry promotion, one of the company’s Subculture events and as such, tickets will only be available via a competition on the Fred Perry Subculture site.

Details of the night are a set by Terry Hall and ‘Friends’ of Specials, Fun Boy Three and Colourfield tunes, plus a couple of covers. Support is from Le Volume Courbe and Bryn Christopher, with Terry and his sons doing DJ support to fill in the gaps.

Check out the Fred Perry Subculture site for details of the competition (probably from tomorrow) – and note that tickets will not be offered anywhere else.
