Birds

Another gig to look out for, with The Birds playing at Manchester's Deaf Institute, which you'll find just off Oxford Road.

The date is Saturday 26th November 2011, the full address is The Deaf Institute, 135 Grosvenor St, Manchester, M1 3HE, with proceedings kicking off from 7:30pm. Support is from Cheap Cuts and Bill Davro.

As for The Birds, as you probably know, it's essentially lead vocalist Ali MacKenzie, who has recreated the band's sound with the help of the Small Fakers, playing many tracks from the 'Collector's Guide' album, alongside songs that were part of The Birds live setlist back in '65-'66.

Tickets are £12.50 and available here.
