by Modculture 18 February, 2008

Pop art mods The Creation have just confirmed their first live show in years, at London’s famous 100 Club on Oxford St on Thursday 24th July.
Creation

The current line-up consists of Eddie Phillips (guitar/vocals), Simon Tourle (vocals), Tony Barber (bass/vocals), and Kev Mann (drums). Not only will we be hearing The Creation classics like ‘Making Time’ and
‘Biff Bang Pow!’ that night but the band are set to play (pre-Creation band) Mark Four material as well. The current line-up have been working on new material over the past year or so, and to preview some of these new songs they are set to produce a ‘gig only’ 45 of new material to be sold on the night.

And if this wasn’t enough to get you excited, the gig also sees top DJs Gary Crowley and Dave Edwards spinning ’60s sounds.

Tickets are 20 pounds plus booking fee and are available through the 100 Club website here. Hear more of The Creation on their official Myspace page here.
